What Are Keywords (In Search Engines.)

 Keywords Explained.

Keywords are words, phrases or short sentences that enable people to find your website, if a person is using the internet to search for something and they key in the same word, phrase or short sentence that you have used on your website the search engine optimization, (SEO) will direct them to your website, therefor the more keywords your website has, the more traffic (visitors) it will get.

Unfortunately, it’s not quire as easy as it may sound, simply adding loads of any old keywords to you website, isn’t going to work because you may be using keywords that thousands of other websites are using, so the chances are they’ll land on one of the other websites instead of yours.

So the obvious question is, how do you find keywords that other websites aren’t using, well, this is where Jaaxy comes in, jaxxy is an amazing keyword search tool, you simply type in a keyword click search and you are given the following information :-

Avg, The average number of searches that keyword received per month.

Traffic, Visits to your website if you achieve first page ranking in the Search Engine.

QSR, Quoted Search Results, the number of competing websites using this exact keyword.

KQI, Keyword Quality Indicator, indicates if the keyword is Great, Okay or Poor.

SEO,  A score based on traffic and competition.

So the trick here is to find keywords that have a high Avg, people actually searching for that keyword, phrase or short sentence, and a low QSR, not many competing websites using that keyword, I use this tool all the time and it really does work, as a general guide, try to find keywords with an Avg of 30 or higher and a QSR less than 100, personally I try to find QSR of less than 10, it takes a while longer to find them, but you can do it.

And here’s the good news, I’m going to give it to you, for FREE, you knew I wouldn’t let you down.

Jaaxy gives you 30 free searches, but jaaxy is included 100% FREE with the Wealthy Affiliate premium.

My advice is to use the Jaaxy keyword research tool with every post, blog or article you add to your website, choose about 4 or 5 good, strong keywords and incorporate them into your post, so you make every post stand out, keeping you ahead of your competitors, Jaxxy also has some other very interesting features, I’ll list them here :-

Google Search Engine Google Search Bar.

We all occasionally have days when it gets a bit difficult to think of a subject on which to write our next post or article and this is where the good old Google search bar comes in very useful, because we can use the google suggestions or autocomplete to our advantage.

We all know that as soon as we start typing in the Google search bar it offers suggestions, but where does it get those suggestions from ? Well, these suggestions come from people’s actual searches, in other words they’re an indicator of the most popular and current searches that are being made on the internet and that’s just the information we need if we’re going to write an interesting post.

So if we go to the google search bar and start typing in for instance, “Where can I buy a” then put the letter “A” you will get a list of the top and most popular items that are being searched for that begin with the letter “A”, you can of course go through the whole of the alphabet till you come to a product that you want to do an article on, and you know that there’s a lot of people out there looking to buy it, I think you’ll agree, this is a brilliant tool for an affiliate marketer.

In fact, it makes no difference what you actually type into google, it will always offer up the suggestions and googles suggestions are always the most current and popular searches being made at this moment in time, I recently did an article on the dangers of  using plastic kettles, so I typed in the search bar “Are plastic kettles” and the top suggestion was “Are plastic kettles safe”   so I now know that a lot of people are now concerned about plastic kettles, so basically, before you do an article, on whatever your chosen subject may be, you can do a quick check to see if it’s currently a popular theme to do an article on.

How to Make Passive Income From The Affiliate Marketing.

1, You have probably already got your own website, but if not, follow these build a Free Website instructions.

2, Try to avoid big, popular brands, because the competition is too great, making it harder to sell.

3, Always try choosing products that offer recurring commissions.

4, Always sell the products that you would buy yourself.

5, Make sure your website is mobile friendly, follow this link Mobile Friendly Tester.

6, Always select a product that fits in with your niche.

7, It’s best to try out the products you are selling yourself, rather than recommending something that you know nothing about.

8, Look at other peoples affiliate websites to get ideas and broaden your knowledge.

9, Don’t be tempted to sign up to too many affiliate programs.

10, If you’re a beginner, just be patient and keep working at it, never give up, always remember a quitter never wins and a winner never quits.
